Microsoft on Friday attributed the recent influence operation targeting the satirical French magazine Charlie Hebdo to an Iranian nation-state actor. Microsoft Corporation has announced that its profit went down 12 per cent year-on-year to USD 16.4 billion during the quarter that ended December 2022 and that its revenue rose 2 per cent y-o-y to USD 52.7 billion in the reviewed period. Microsoft is currently engaged in discussions to invest USD 10 billion in ChatGPT-creator OpenAI along with other venture firms, according to reports.
