Bengaluru: Pharmaceutical company Granules India Ltd, reported a 23 per cent rise in third-quarter profit on Tuesday, propelled by strong demand for the painkiller drug Paracetamol. Consolidated profit rose to 1.24 billion rupees ($15.22 million) for the three months ended Dec. 31, from 1.01 billion rupees a year earlier. Granules enters pharma packaging biz in US, to invest $12.5m in new unit – ET HealthWorld

Hyderabad: Pharma player Granules India Ltd on Thursday said it has forayed into pharmaceutical packaging operations in the United States and will be investing $12.5 million in a new facility at Prince William County in Virginia. The company will be leasing a 79,000 square feet facility where it will set up packaging lines and clean rooms to package and ship pharmaceuticals.
